During the Truro Christmas Market period on Lemon Quay, Truro Farmers Market relocated its regular weekly markets to Boscawen Street to form the Boscawen Street Christmas Market.
Working in collaboration with Cornwall Shop Small and Truro BID, this festive city-centre market brought together a fantastic mix of our regular farmers’ market traders alongside a range of additional independent and seasonal traders.
With festoon lighting overhead, seasonal decorations and the atmosphere of Truro’s cobbled streets, Boscawen Street became a vibrant extension of the Christmas celebrations taking place across the city.

Late Night Shopping in Truro – November & December
Truro’s festive late night shopping runs on Wednesdays throughout late November and December, beginning on Wednesday 26th November and continuing each Wednesday right up to Christmas week.
On these dates, we traded until 9pm on Boscawen Street, giving shoppers extra time to browse, eat and enjoy the atmosphere. The additional market on Monday 22nd December also formed part of the city’s extended festive shopping offer, with late trading into the evening.
With the cabins of the Truro Christmas Market open on Lemon Quay, independent retailers across the city staying open later, and a full festive programme of activity, late night shopping in Truro is a real highlight of the season.
Visitors could enjoy shopping across both locations — from artisan food and gifts at Truro Farmers’ Market on Boscawen Street, to the extended Truro Christmas Market on Lemon Quay — all while supporting local businesses at one of the most important times of the year.
The Boscawen Street Christmas Market continues to play a key role in Truro’s festive offer, celebrating independent traders and bringing seasonal atmosphere right into the heart of the city.
