We were delighted to see the return of the Truro Christmas Market to Lemon Quay from 21st November to 24th December 2025.
This 34-day festive celebration has become a real highlight of the Cornish calendar, transforming the city centre into a magical Christmas destination. With traditional cabins lining Lemon Quay, live music throughout the season and a fantastic mix of local traders, food and gifts, it’s an event we’re proud to be associated with and fully support.
Many of our Truro Farmers Market traders take part in the Christmas Market itself, with some familiar faces trading from the cabins daily in the lead-up to Christmas.
Where to Find Truro Farmers’ Market During the Christmas Market
While the Christmas Market is on Lemon Quay, our regular weekly Wednesday and Saturday farmers’ markets relocate to Boscawen Street, forming the Boscawen Street Christmas Market.
This festive collaboration with Cornwall Shop Small and Truro BID brings even more energy and atmosphere to the city centre during November and December.
On Boscawen Street you’ll find a selection of our Truro Farmers’ Market traders, alongside a wealth of other independent businesses and guest traders. It’s a wonderful extension of the Christmas celebrations happening just around the corner on Lemon Quay.
Opening Times on Boscawen Street
During the Christmas Market period:
-
Wednesdays: 9am – 9pm (including five late night shopping dates)
-
Saturdays: 9am – 5pm (across four Saturdays during the festive period)
Expect festoon lighting, twinkling decorations and the magical atmosphere of Truro’s cobbled streets brought to life for the season. There will also be live music on Boscawen Street, adding to the festive feel throughout the city.
Supporting Local This Christmas
Between Lemon Quay and Boscawen Street, you’ll find an incredible showcase of local food, drink, gifts and handmade products. Some of your favourite Truro Farmers’ Market traders will be trading daily on Lemon Quay, while others will be part of our Wednesday and Saturday markets on Boscawen Street.
If you’re looking for a particular favourite trader, we always recommend checking their own social media channels for up-to-date information on where they’ll be trading throughout the festive season.
For full details of the Truro Christmas Market, including daily cabin opening times and entertainment schedules, visitors can refer to the official Truro Christmas Market information page.
Christmas in Truro is always something special, and we’re proud to play our part in bringing local traders, great food and festive spirit to the heart of the city.
