Christmas has well and truly arrived!

It certainly is beginning to feel a lot like Christmas at Truro Farmers Market, a state of affairs announced by the arrival of a giant Santa last week! Thank you to Stewart Girvan for capturing the moment….

As we do throughout the year, we are encouraging people to shop local for Christmas; the farmers market is a great place to pick up gifts, foodie treats, seasonal supplies and locally made arts and crafts, as well as get into the festive atmosphere.

We’ll be here during late night shopping on the 3rd, 10th and 17th of December until 9pm, so you can enjoy Truro’s Christmas lights along with a glass or two of mulled wine.

Stallholders will also be on the quay for the following days (the make-up of the market will vary, so if you want to check with a specific trader we suggest you find their producer page and contact them):

December Days- 3rd, 5th and 6th, 10th-14th, 17th-24th

Several stall-holders are taking orders for collection at market, making it that much easier to keep your Christmas food shopping local. Find out more here.

Our Christmas markets will also provide a much-needed opportunity to refuel, with Harry Bartlett’s warming winter menu and delicious bites from Ruby June’s Indian Kitchen.

Finally, don’t forget Small Business Saturday on the 6th December. We will be on the quay as usual, providing a route to market for our fantastic local producers. We hope you’ll show your support!
