Cornish Hydrangeas are a seasonal trader for obvious reasons; they are an eagerly-anticipated visitor to the market every summer. Their stall always looks sensational, with an abundance of healthy plants and bright blooms.
Cornwall has a really interesting history when it comes to plant growing, hydrangeas included. Some of the earliest varieties, which arrived in Europe from Japan in the 19th Century, were landed in Cornish ports and planted in historic gardens around the county.
Specialist growers Cornish Hydrangeas are based in West Cornwall and grow both traditional and modern varieties of these beautiful plants.
